He swims at sunrise 5 mornings per week in Torquay no matter the water temperature or time of year, and always without a wetsuit.
He has started the Rottnest Channel Solo Swim (20Kms) 13 times and completed it 11 times. He has had type 2 Diabetes for about 10 years and is sure that swimming helps to keep the sugar levels down.
