Self-Care Sunday Wellness Festival
Self-Care Sunday Wellness Festival supported by WorkSafe will take over Johnstone Park, Geelong on Sunday 28 October. This Geelong West Rotary initiative has been created to educate and inspire the people of Geelong about the importance of living an active, healthy lifestyle and prioritising self-care on a regular basis in order to prevent physical and mental health issues.
Active Geelong is proud to support this event which encourages physical activity as an important element in self-care.
The event aims to enhance the mental wellbeing of the Geelong community and will feature a day full of health and wellbeing activities. There are plenty of activities and entertainment on offer – a stair climb of Geelong's tallest building WorkSafe headquarters, Keep It Cleaner co-founders, Laura Henshaw and Steph Claire Smith hosting sweat sessions, author and self-love guru, Melissa Ambrosini, hosting motivational talks, celebrity chef Luke Hines hosting a live cooking demonstration, as well as meditation workshops by Geelong Meditation Centre & Upstate Yoga.
