Katrina is a medical scientist with a background in pathology and workforce education. In her present role at WVPHN, Katrina uses her regional insights and partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure people in western Victoria have access to quality health care when and where they need it. Katrina has always been active, participating in a wide variety of physical activities such as hiking, running, triathlons, and stand-up-paddle boarding to name just a few. A diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2023 led to a newfound appreciation of her health and mobility and highlighted the importance of exercise in recovery.
