That’s a wrap! Thanks for supporting Active Geelong in 2018

What a year! 2018 really was the year for kick starting a movement that aims to change the way we think about and participate in physical activity.

Sometimes it can be overwhelming to think about what we can achieve with the Active Geelong movement because of our lofty ambition to be Australia’s most active city. There are so many opportunities and challenges to address from large-scale systematic changes to small grass-roots activities that will help to improve the health of our community. The end of the year is a perfect time to reflect on what has been achieved and to realise that whilst sometimes the ambition seems unreachable our collective impact initiative has already made some great headway.

This edition of the Moveletter highlights some of our recent activity including Self-Care Sunday, the Leaders for Geelong report and the establishment of the Advocacy Sub-Committee.
